We take daily snapshots of all our virtual machine’s file systems. This is automatically done on the back end and not user controlled. Purpose is in case users accidentally make a major error and brick their machine. You may then request a snapshot be restored back to a date, up to two weeks old. Which will restore the OS to the state it was in on that date/time. You should still make your own backups on your own schedule for smaller mistakes and full restores.
